I’ve been trying to get the free version of VRay to work. Including the free manual, I manage only to get overlighted scenes, objects with over 50% speculars and other weird things.
Anyone out there to point me to some tutorials and/or has got some tips?

the reason your scene is overbright i guess is because you need to turn of the default max lights. make an omni and turn that off.

That is a pretty good link; my scene is looking much better. Guess it’s gonna be a tweaking-fest with those parameters. Thank!
