Uv's as one map (not overlapping)?


Is it possible to create UV’s on one map instead of overlapping UVs in Silo?. I have an objectl composed of separately modelled pieces and I’d like to have all the islands of the individual pieces on one map laid out nicely, rather than overlapping as seems to be the default way in Silo. Is there a way to do this?


Sure thing, scale and position the islands manually. The workflow is exactly as the modeling part (same gizmos and modifiers).

well… 3D Coat does that automatically.
