uv mapping problem (maya 2014)

hello, i’m new here…

i really need help!

i was trying to do an uv layout with maya 2014. When i was trying to do the layout with Select Mesh>Delete UV>Select Face>Planar Mapping>UV texture editor> UV > Select UV > To Shell, when i wanted to move the UV that i wanted to resize/rotate/move, other mesh was following it and it kinda messed up… why is that?

what happened to me is something like this
