Im having some problems making a bumps in zbrush and exporting it back to maya.
Could anyone pleas have a look at the image i attached?
i read that i can use the displacement map function in zbrush, and use it as bump map in maya. So i made a blockin in maya, ev wrapped it, exported to zbrush, made some details on the blockin, then exported the mesh from zbrush to back maya (so the mesh is not the same as the one i exported from maya at first), as well as the displacement map. It always ends up looking like in the pic.
Im guessing that there is some uv issues mainly. If i add another bump map to the mesh, or just a checker texture, it stretches. But as far as i know, the uvs should be preserved when i go through this?
Anyone can help me?
