UV Edit Pro

I am looking to purchase UV Edit Pro or something similar for Lightwave v8.5.
The UV mapping needed is for furniture models and the application/plug-in should be something that is easy to use and can quickly apply a UV map to a model.

I read on other forums that UV Edit Pro was packaged with Lightwave 8, but I have found nothing to support that info.

Any suggestions or information to help me out would be appreciated.

Download PLG UV
Its free and best thing since slice bread in terms of UVs for Lightwave

Well I have found out that UV Edit Pro costs $140 but to get the english version you have to email your financial information to the guy. So that’s not an option anymore.

The PLG tools I am looking into and playing around with.

UV Layout looks nice, but the $300 price tag seems steep for my purposes.

Dude… Just get Silo for $80! Silo’s UV tools blow Lightwave’s away.

I love Silo’s modeler so much I do most of my modeling in Silo now, then bring them into ZBrush for paint & displacement, then into LW for surfacing and animation.
