Updated tutorial - linework done digitally

#1

I’ve got a very extensive guide on how to create good linework in software on my website, which I’ve just updated with some info on Painter’s Liquid Inks. The tutorial is here:

http://www.itchy-animation.co.uk/lines.htm

It covers everything from very slick linework to more rough and scratchy styles. Here’s a pic from the new material - it’s based on a drawing by french comic book artists Andre Franquin, I wanted to emulate the look of indian ink applied with a brush, using Painter’s Liquid Ink technology:

Nice and deep tut Frog! I have already went through it some time ago and its nice that you have added chapter about Liquid inks - they are simply great!

However there are some minor flaws concerning Sketchbook. You have probably tested older version because in version 2.0 there are transform and lasso tool is present and full PSD support too! So maybe its time to give it a second try:) You will definetely love it more:)

Just my 2 cents…

And thx again for your effort!!
