Undo history movies

#1

When I work in Zbrush, I like to make movies using the undo history to see the progress. However, after a while the camera spinning can make one dizzy, but I don’t know how to disable it. I played with the modifiers with no luck and surprisingly not even google could help me figure it out.

Example of what I mean:
A video of mine with the constant camera movement
And here’s what I’d like it to look like

On another note, is there a way to keep the model in the frame? When I record the model pivots at the base causing it to constantly go off screen. It only happens with models imported from Maya.

The second video you’ve linked to is someone actually recording their session (and playing it back sped up), not an undo movie, which is why the camera doesn’t have that ‘swimmy’ movement.

Try the following settings in the Movie>Modifiers subpalette

Spin Cycles = 0

HRecenter = 100
HPosition = 0
HOrientation = 0

That should lock your recording down to one angle and if anything gets out of frame, re-center the view.

Ohh I see. Guess I’ll try to remember to hit record when I work from now on. Thank you!
