Unable to select the xgen Guides

Hi

For some reason, I am unable to select the xGen Guides. As you can see in this illustration video: https://www.dropbox.com/s/q8143unj1jne0fq/MYA023_unable_select_guides.mp4?dl=0
I have to go to the outliner to select the guides which is a bit cumbersome.

Is there a way around this?

P.S. Not sure if this matters but the guides are made through “Curves to Guide” command rather than manually placing them using xGen tools.

are you able to use the sculpt guides brush…?

You mean those attribute to groomable splines? If so, no. I made the guides through the “Placing Guides” Setting rather than groomable setting.

the sculpt guide brush should work on all guides…
