Well, it might be possible to do that in a game. I’m not sure. I think it would take a hell of a lot of finagling and it’d probably be a nightmare to implement with any existing game engine. I’m no tech guy, though, so take that with a grain of salt.
UGAC Megaman - Swizzle
Here’s some further work on the model. I’m up to 1884 tris. I’m aiming for about 3000 tris once I’ve added everything like dangling bandages and stuff. Then it’s about 4000-ish for the half-bandaged version.

Another update on the modeling. I’m up to 2392 triangles. I’m going to use most of the remainder for the dangling bandages and stuff. I’m liking these new boots he has. I didn’t think big boots would fit the character very well at first, but I believe I’ve changed my mind on that one. What do you guys think?

Ok, I’m just about done with the primary modeling stage for this guy. Now I’ve just got to make the dangly bandages, do some slight tweaking of vertices, and start on the half-unwrapped version.
I’m at 2522 triangles now.

Sweet design. My only comment would be that Mega Man characters have 5 fingers not 4. ;D
Since I’m a little burned out on the big guy, I’ve been tossing around some designs for the mini-mummies.
And I don’t think I’ve mentioned it, but the mini-mummies are going to do some different things. Mummy Man will have a bunch of them swarm the player, but he’ll also pick them up and use them as weapons. For example, he might pick one up and use it as a club, or he might throw one at you. He might even raise some mini-mummies and a sandstorm so the mini-mummies fly around you in a sort of vortex that hurts you.

Kind of, yeah, except that Mummy man’s going to be making these guys pop out of the ground in big swarms, and they’re completely expendible.
The design is looking sweet so far! The little mummies look a bit more megamanish than the big mummy and really sell the style!
Don’t worry; once the big mummy comes unwrapped, he’ll look a little more Megaman.
Oh, and speaking of mini-mummies…

Fun fact: I’m actually working on a clay model of the mini-mummy. It’s going to be six to eight inches tall, and I’m going to cast it to make a rubber or plastic version with an armature inside. Pictures to come later.
Oooo, clay mummies… That is super neat. Loving the design of the mini mummies
Can’t wait to see the plastic/rubber versions!
Well, I’ve good news regarding the plastic mummies: They can and will be made, and I’m going to start molding next Tuesday. I’m going to spend the weekend making the models, and then I’m going to mold them in silicone as a project in my sculpture class. I’ll post a picture of a clay mockup for one of them a little later, as well as the start of the mini-mummy model. I’ll post updates on the clay versions as they get made, and then pictures of the mold-making process and the final products.
The reason I’m making the physical models is actually kind of interesting. I’m not very good at posing stuff in 3D software, so I want to make real ones that I can pose for reference for the final renders. I also want to have some action figures that I designed myself, but that’s beside the point.
Wonderful news! All my files for this project up and disappeared with the flash drive I had them stored on. I had them stored on a flash drive because I was migrating between school and home a lot, and (of course) I didn’t have any backups. My brilliance is blinding, isn’t it?
So, here’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to use the one clay model and all the sketches I have and I’m going to make the mini-mummy. Mini-mummy will become Mummy Man since he looks more like a Megaman character, and I’ll work from there.
It’s awesome being an idiot.
unlucky, ive learnt the hard way on several occasions about backing work up.good luck on mini mummy,…and remember to backup your work
moment of silence for Swizzle’s flash drive and project files.
But, that’s the spirit, Swizzle! Don’t give up!
