hello again, I’m back to post some sketches. darksuit is right about the titles, our advise is useful and noted. i have not decided a name for my character: Hockey Man or Puck Man are the two I’ve narrowed down to. the others are good but they dont have convey the character well enough to me. comment soon so I can better create my character.

First off, I reccommend posting bigger sketches. It’s hard to see your drawings!

As far as your concept goes, HockeyMan is an interesting idea. I’m glad I’m not doing that, though, because I can’t seem to get the Mighty Ducks logo out of my head. I know there’s got to be more to hockey than those old movies let on…

Oh, dude! You should try incorporating some zamboni stylin’s into your design! Zambonis are awesome! :thumbsup:

hello everyone, sorry ive been away for so long but here’s an update. tell me what you think of him. here’s color scheme.

the modeling is done and it is a fantastic count of 7994. now it just needs everything else. i added the goal lights on his shoulder for more authentic look.

here are two more. i did have a problem with the mesh haveing too many sided polys but i went back and fixed it.

good starts! i think his arms could (the forearms) could afford to be a bit bigger. on the color scheme, red/blue makes me think of police lights. may wanna change that.

hey thanks michael for your imput. it does remind me of a policeman now that i think about it. i’ll alter it a bit and i made the arms (forearms) slightly bigger but i did not want to go to far from my concept.

here is color scheme again. i took the black boots away and the black chest too. he’s practically all white w/ red and blue lines; even a few face-off dots and the HM (Hockey Man) symbol. i also made him with shark colors, i’m a sharks fan if the hockey theme was not a dead give away. tell me which it better.
