tutorials wanted for environment concept creation

#1

I am wondering if anyone knows of (video and other web) tutorials that specifically focus on environment concept creation?

I joined this Character-a-fortnight cafe and will have to do a perspective painting of my concept sooner or later and I have never done anything like it.

I do know about the basics of perspective (one and two-point, horizon lines, basically the stuff you get to know from reading Loomis).

However, I was watching a sample clip from the gnomon workshop by Feng Zhu about the basics in environment shots and I was thinking that there’s obviously more to creating convincing environments than only setting up a perspective.
Spending the 29€ atm won’t help me for the workshop at hand, though…

So, if there was any free info on that (with video web tutorials multiplying by the thousands over the last few months) I would greatly appreciate any hints/links.
