I don’t agree with compressing the images. the largest image size is 179k, the problem most likely would be the link which is coming from oversea and/or the site that hosting the image.
TUTORIAL - Watercolor in Digital - by zhuzhu
Thanks, zhuzhu! Try saving the images for web at about 65-70, that usually works for me. There is a bit of lossiness, sure, but it will help us to see your images faster.
Thank you!

i had resaved the image and edited all tutorial post already, i used [JPEG Optimizer] to got less than about 70KB almost. if it still getting slow for you view these pics, i thought i should need some help for the image hosting source. or Rebeccak help me put these pics on your webspace, if it necessarily.

Great tutorial. Most of my artwork has been done in watercolor and you I am awed by your skill in getting the true look of watercolor in a digital painting. Your tutorial is so well written and the steps easy to follow. I will have to try this.

Hi there, love your work. Its really great.![]()
I was trying out your brushes and tutorial last night in Photoshop CS and got to the last stage before I was totally stumped, i.e. the watercolour paper texture bit.
Have you created a seamless tile from actual watercolour paper using the offset filter in PS/ or is there a preset somewhere in the textures folder that I missed. I looked for like 10 minutes or something!!!
Slowly going mad…

Thank you Zhu Zhu for answering my question. Will get onto making a custom paper effect right away (unless you are going to post a mini tutorial on that “topic within a topic” anytime soon - in which case I’ll wait until I see how you do it first! :D)
