#1

i saw on the other thread, and they are working on the Jona model, but then, i really want to work on a car instead, and because i’m a total newbie on 3d, i want to gather a group of people like me to do a tutorial together, what do you guys think?

-tire and tire threads (http://www.mayhemation.com/tutorial/wheel/rim1.html)
-shaders (what is this?? lol :P)
-texturing and materials
-lighting
-rendering technique

I’ll join this group.
A great tutorial is here in this forum written by LionTR (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?t=156460)

I cant wait for a lighting and rendering on max. They are always as been everyone’s weakness.

Damn i need to know how you guys render on Vray or Brazil or maybe Rman.

#4

alright we should start now. I’ve been lookin at 3d palace, and they have some good video tutorials, but then the only problem is that they use hot keys a lot, can anything show us some common hot keys you guys always use?

#5

the new audi tutorial (on the palace) is with sound from blitzze, so it’s very well explained for beginners and also for advanced users.

maybe you should all try that one??

The Blittze narrated tutorial is excellent. I’ve never modeled a car before and it’s coming along quite well so far:

My model has a few issues, but they are from my own doing, not the tutorial. I highly reccomend it!

actually, i don’t even have time to follow the tutorial :frowning:
but ya, i would do the video tut instead :stuck_out_tongue:
