turning scene into a avi

hi i was wondering if anyone could tell me how too change a small animation ive made into a small avi or whatever too be used in flash, for my main page on my website. if its possible a complete walk through on it.

use adobe premiere pro for edition

Use Videomach, its free. google it.

i dont understand why dont you render the animation out as an .avi to begin with all the encoding options are in max.

you are better off to render each fram as say a .tga file. then you can compress into any format you want, and any size without having to render it all again.

you can even get max to do this, but setting up the environment map as a sequence or the tgas…

you have to pick your format depending on

size
bandwidth
intended use
frames
etc…

simplest is animated gif.

bigger choice is really between

a) .mov sorenson 3
b) .avi using DivX free plug in form divx.com which when installed will give you 3dsmax options.
