Trying to setup the Vue Synchronizer in Max?

I set up a camera in my project for about 25 seconds to try and bring the video synch to vue from max. I select the Refresh Button first then salect the camera to siync, but the Frames do not change to the amount that i have setup for? Is there a certon way that i have to go to set up the synch?
