Has anybody found some good reference for this ?
I had a go just making a simple scene with a hinge connector.
One static rigid body plank hinged to a dynamic rigid body plank like a windmill.
The problem is when I select the hinge I only seem to be able to use it in one direction “z” axis. I’m not how I can make a hinge on any of the other axis ?
Anybody else playing with this ?
Trying to learn the new 2013 Bullet system
Ok i’ve figured it out, you need to rotate the hinge connector to face the way you want with its separate transform controls. Then to see what you have done in the viewport you need to click back to frame one even if you on frame one and the viewport with update (very confusing).
I’ve uploaded a sample scene to demonstrate the hinge connector if anyones interested.
I prefer DynamicaBullet, for some reason MayaBullet doesent works fine with Fields (try, if u create a field maya switch to normal rigidbody solver)

Do get to know your Bullet before using it.
It’s just the Autodesk’s way the implementation on Maya 2013.

I love bullet thats why i’m giving it a go in 2013, I used it alot in C4D and in Unity with physX so i’m hoping things will slot together :O)
before maya 2013 u can use Dynamica Bullet (for maya 2009 up i think) free plugin from Disney, and… i raccomand you right now
How to bake rb Arrays in new dynamica 2.81 ?
If selected and click on bake it just gives error:
Dynamica Error: No rigid bodies to bake.
