Trouble doing a dynamic rig for a car in Maya : If I move the car too far, the wheels deform


Hello guys,

So I tried to rig a car with dynamics, everything went well, but it seems like the latices for the wheels doesnt follow and so if I move too far the wheels deform.

Do you guys have a clue on what should i do?

Apart from lattice what else goes into the wheel that creates weird deformation…Any dynamics like cloth and collider?
For the lattice you can check
If outsideLattice is set to “All” : setAttr “ffd1.outsideLattice” 1;
Check if the latticeBase is moving along with the rig.
