m trying to make a Tree with the correct texel density to match my scene but as its so large Ill need to tile a texture across it. I`m fairly new to tiling textures and my question was how do you hide the obvious seams from cutting the branches off while UVing?
In mari you have a node called triplanar that will make it look like there is no seams as it is projected rather than tiled. most of the time this can work. You will however not get the nice wrapping of a tiled texture this way.
