I’ve just started using the Trax Editor.
I want to copy some animation between scenes, so I setup a char and saved out the clip from one scene and imported into the target scene.
The imported clip shows up in the Trax editor next to the existing clip for the char. When I click the imported clip it’s curves show up in the GE listed under the character set for the object, but the object doesn’t move when I move the current time into the region of the imported clip. I tested this w/some dummy objects and it worked fine. Anyone know why this wouldn’t work?
Thx.

I’ve made a bit more progress, but still not sure what is going on.
My imported clip (‘clip2’) has 2 KF on XYZ translation. When I advance the timeline to the location of the clip2, if both of clip2’s KF have the same value, nothing happens. If any of the channels in clip2 are animated, only those channels are obeyed, and the object moves relative to its position before the timeline entered the clip. I’d like the object to snap to the location at the beginning of clip2, am I missing something?
Thx.
