Transition between two actors suggestions?

I have a scene where I’ve keyed out two actors and I want one actor to make a turn and it appear the other one is splitting out from the first. I’m somewhat new to all of this, so I’m looking for any suggestions on a way to make a transition between the two actors so it just doesn’t look like to pieces of video intersecting eachother?
Any suggestions, thoughts, comments would be greatly appreciated…this is for a personal short film that I hope to complete one day.

If the two actors will end up standing next to each other, maybe create a morph from one actor to the other, and then comp that together with the original footage of each actor. If you don’t want it to look like just fading one actor over the other you’ll have to morph them together.

Hey!!! You know what?? That’s actually a good idea. I can actually see that working in my mind. Now if I can get it to look like it does in my mind…that’s a different story :slight_smile:

Thanks for the suggestion…I’m going to give that one a try.
