Transform geometry animation to rig

Hi,

I have a character rigged the Mixamo auto rigger from Adobe. From this rig I detached the head for an geometry head object track in PFTrack. After tracking with the head geometry in PFTrack I want to transfer the animation back to the head control of my rig.

The problem I have is that I now receive the motion of the head and when I copy/paste the animation but when I manually rotomate the upper chest, the animation of the head is off (ofcourse). I was wondering if anybody could enlight me a bit if I approach this the right way.

Should I somehow constrain the geometry tracked head to the head control of the rig. Whatever I try I can’t make this work. Hope this is not too unclear.
