I have two meshes, same shape, same skeleton, different topology. Mesh 1 has skin weights which I’d like to transfer to the mesh 2. Meaning for each vertex in mesh 1, find the closest in mesh 2, and copy its weights.
For some reason the copy skin weight give me a lot of artifacts. Any recommendations?
Also the resolution of the first mesh around the area with artifacts was lower, and the topology was bad. Thus the second couldn’t interpolate the weights well.
