trajectory contra fcurve

#1

Hi and thank you very much for reading my post!

I have a loop to animate on an animal rig. The bones/effectors in question are red Chest (B) and blue Hips (A). I can only influence Chest by altering Hips. I cannot rotate the piece marked "x".

Hips have a nice, smooth trajectory, but Chest does not and I think I'd better do something about that. Notice a very nice fcurve (bottom) for rotation of Hips.

In order to create a smoother trajectory on Chest, I have altered the rotation of Hips. The sideefect is that now I have a very ugly fcurve on Hips rotation (see bottom).

So I can basically have either a nice trajectory on Chest or a nice rotation fcurve on Hips, but not both. What is better? Or how would you solve this, please?

Many thanks in advance for your kind advice!

  Best regards,

  Pavel
