TP - Few questions

Hi,

I’ve just started to learn TP and I will probably have some questions on how to start. So far I’ve been using pFlow for years but now I want to dig deeper. So I’ll try to ask my questions here. And if I’m lucky maybe I’ll get some answers :slight_smile:

Q no 1:

How can I cache my simulation? What I want is something similar to cache operator in pFlow. I just want to cache the sim to preview the sim in realtime.

I know I can export the sim with export node, but this will creates new objects which will be super slow for many obejcts. Another thing I can do is to use Xmesh.

But maybe there is sth like this already in TP?

Yes, you can cache out the simulation from TP but sadly I can’t remember exactly how right now due I use XMesh. I think you have to select the top Dynamic Set in the list, then on the right side panel where you have all options/settings, there you might find some options for cache. Else, check the manual :slight_smile:

TO make the cache for TP you need to rightclick the icon for the dynamic group. However Xmesh cache seems to be faster. Both in the viewport and caching
