Tp density

#1

Is there a way in matterwaves to control emitter density with mask (in my case noise map).

#2

Yes, there is a ‘use map’ box in there, try that

#3

you mean use material/map in emit on of manipulation, but I need particles to have smaller distance between each other in white areas. Now it emits according to u and v grid.

sorry for bad English, maybe I can’t explain what I need

#4

There are U and V parameters there, increase them to get more density.

#5

Sorry Hristo  I found it, the problem was that use active emitter only was disabled.

Hi guys It’s me again

I’m trying to distribute particles evenly along complex geometry, but they’re distributed by polygon density.I watch youtube tutorials, but guys are using simple geometry. Can you please direct me to the right way. I use matterwaves and also used combined object to particle + matterwave, but it doesn’t work.

#7

Honestly, I don’t use Matterwaves. If you just put a surface position/position born in, it will cover the source with consistent density.

#8

thank you Hristo I’ll try that. If you know some tut please post link

#9

It worked  so simple. Huuuuuge thanks!!! Now I can sleep after 48 hours of war with TP.

#10

It gets easier as you go
