Tool for selecting all points in a loop? [SOLVED]

I just found out that you can’t choose ring or loop selection while in Point Mode.
I want to select all points of a splines’ outline and can’t find the tool to do it automaticaly.
Any suggestions other than pressing repeatedly Grow Selection ?

loop selection works fine in point mode for me here in R23. Can you double check?

Select one point, then use “Select Connected”.

You are trying to select a loop of points on a spline, that’s not what those selection tools are for, they’re for polygonal or mesh points
