"Toadroots" - Short Film WIP

Hello there old CGTalk friends,

My latest news is that I’ve recently locked my picture and finished critical animation. Consequently, a full fledged film composer was key to add dramatic depth to my otherwise silly-dark cartoon. I’ve worked recently with him and his name is Kristian Sensini. He works out of Italy and is eager to work with any members who are in need of original film score. Hi Everyone,

Just to let you know this project is complete!  I will post its web release after I find out what's going on with a few film festival entries.  Because I was at the tail end of the IP incubator club, I thought I'd just post updates here.

I worked here and there for the last couple months on this poster.  I guess work is never truly done on  something if you don't want it to be! I'm looking forward to sharing the animation with everyone following this thread, or just clicking through, once I post it online.

I also quickly made a website to promote this thing further if I have to.  I'll let you know when that portion is up and running.

Recently I’ve been studying javascript coding and learned it is an endevour all to its own. Html tutorials helped me a bit to create the film’s offical website, so far so good, I got a way for external social media! The website is basically the title of the film, and I guess I’ll slap that puppy in my signature.

Good news, and an update: This film has made it into a film festival! “Toadroots” will be premiering at the animation shorts program of the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival, Feb. 17th, in Los Angeles. If you’re local, please check it out! :slight_smile:

Okay, here we go–I had dreams of posting this here, and now it has become a reality–I FINISHED my project! I swear there is always more to do, but I’m putting a nail in this thing and call it done.
