My first try with this rig; Tiny. Like him alot
Anyhow, this is just an animation I did for the fun of it ^^
If you wonder what the litle ball is any good for I can tell You that You need to use Your imagination and think of it like a litle fairy. ( will add him in later on ) The litle fairy are going to enter though a cave entrence when suddenly this guy jumps down from the cliff and trys to catch him.
This is just a wip atm so please feel free to add a comment if there are anything that needs to be fixed.

Thanks alot!

Nice!
I think the ball anticipates the action of the monster. Not antic as in the animation principle, But the ball kinda already knows there is trouble ahead and stops well before the monster puts his hand down to block the ball’s way. A better acting choice is to stop only after the ball’s paths is blocked.

Also, you can offset the arms on landing, right now they hit the ground at the same time.
Plus, your knees are a bit wobbly, but I’m sure its just a matter of polish.

Keep us updated, this is looking interesting.

Thanks for the replie desmondying
The ball will be replaced with a glowing sphere in short. And I will have in mind what You said about the acting. Also I will animate “Tiny´s” head so that he will look more straight at the ball as he jumps after it. And too have a look on that wobbling knee.

I realized that the frame rate of my playblast was totally different from what my setting was put to so i rendered it out for You so You can see it in the correct framerate.

This looks pretty good. I agree that the knees are a bit wobbly. I also think his knees slightly pop around frame 85 when he extends his legs to jump.
