Thinking Particle's 3.0 Tutorials

#41

great work dude, tried to access your site but bandwidth exceeded : )

#42

ah yo dude, glad u digg it, your videos helped me get to where I’m at today so I’m trying to give back and keep the cycle going,

-ahhhh, I just found out I’m only allowed 167 GBs a day

grury - AH okay, the stuff u want to play with is the elasticity, static and dynamic friction on the group settings and usually mass by size on the shape collision rollout does the trick.
If not you can build up equations to drive the mass properties in a seperate dynamic set. To have more control.

pyrokinetic- keep on trying, my sites coming up but i’m not getting any pictures cause my work has some werid firewall shit. I have over 3 TBS left in bandwidth, if this problem persists I will contact my provider.

Yep, learning to utilize more or less what’s in the standard helpers rollout

I’m thinking of switching the ideas of my tutorials to more production example based. Of how specific shots are set up…

Updated with first couple videos in a Production Example Series. I show how I avoid collisions with deforming objects and keep shit speedy.

I’m really gonna try to make one a day until its complete.

Thanks guys. Click the image for my site for my site

I have a question ,from your tutorials ,I see you give two channel to mattewaves ,one is for the particle frame count=A ,another is for shot=B ,A/B–> sina&cosa,I think the particle frame count is always equal 1,so A/B is not changed ,every particle will have the same sina&cosa value means all the particle will have the same direction ,but the result in your tutorial is not ,where is the problem ,it confused me ,I need your help ,thanks
