Hello,
My name is Nathan Hussein (Morpher-2005 on TFN fan films forum) and I am the visual effects coordinator for the Star Wars fan film ‘Siege of Ilum’, the first part of a trilogy called ‘the Clone Wars Saga’. As VFX coordinator, my main job is to create the space battle which will play a major part in ‘Siege of Ilum’, however I am currently in need of talented artists such as yourself who can help me with this. The battle is split into two parts, the first being the shorter, more introductory part whereas the second contains the film’s finale. The first part has been fully storyboarded and is well into the pre-vis stage with almost half of it in animatic form now rather than storyboard. You can view this Pre-vis here:

The second half has not yet been touched upon apart from the dialogue and main plot contained in the script. What I’ll be needing help with is making final shots for the first part, and then the same for the second half once it has been pre-visualised. I’m looking to get 3-5 people working on this if possible so any help at all would be greatly appreciated. I am very confident that this film will be completed as so much effort has already been put in. Although there is no official release date, John Howard (director, producer etc) is looking for a March/April Release of 2007. I think (I’d have to check it with John) that all the filming is complete and all that’s left is the post-production. While this happens, pre-production is already talking place for the next two parts of the saga.
