the pictures to 3d modelling technology

I just hear about the photo-to-3d technology.
We can get the extracly model from those photos.
I thinks it is very convenient.
There art some softwares i know like photomodeler scaner, 3dsom , imagemodeling , 123D catch…
That is huge area.
I should chose which software? I mean which soft is high rate and why?
