The old temple

Hello to all, here its my last mattepainting, done in one day, 1920x1080.
Every idea start with a basic sketch.

After that i put some basic colors, to feel the mood.

And after i start adding soems photo references and textures, starting cleaning each part and cloning elements.

Here i start to paint the differents foliages, elements.

Working and adding details lights and shadows, working on detailed elements.

nice concept, I see some lores elements in your HD and some really sharp edges on rocks and other elements, try to blend them in applying a little blur to each edge in your scene, and use only hires photo elements , the composition is dead center and that kills it, but if this is your goal it’s ok, exposure is ok and the FG elements really give a nice depth and mood to this image!
