The eye of the beholder

Howdy folks

When I model a face (read: try to model a face) i always have a few problems:

1: I can never fit a sphere in the eyesockets… I just don’t understand how to fit them into it… I tried manipulating the vertices and stuff but still…

2: The edges of the mouth and lips are not corner-y enough… it’s like it’s just one lip going around the mouth…

Can N-E-1 help me with this?
