Hey all,
Do you ever hear yourself wanting to support independent animation but rarely having the opportunity? All the time, I hear you say? Well today is the day for you!
A few months ago I finished my first short animated film, Sneeze Me Away (www.sneezemeaway.com). It has now begun the festival route, in fact the first festival it has been entered into it won an award (Jury Choice Gold Medal for Excellence at the Park City Film Music Festival). Though it’s not available online to watch yet, it will be soon.
Sneeze Me Away took two years of full time work for myself and my wife, and tells the story about a boy who finds out what actually happens when one sneezes with their eyes open.
To help promote the film, I have edited together an “Art of” book. Available from a “print on demand” publisher, this 80 page, full colour book is filled to the brim with concept art, final backgrounds, information about the film, and more (contains roughly 200 displays of art). It’s printed on higher quality premium paper and is available in softcover and hardcover (dust jacket) editions. In all honesty, the hardcover version is of amazing quality, solid and professional looking. You can find page previews in the following links:
Softcover Edition (http://www.blurb.com/my/book/detail/1352015)
Hardcover Edition (http://www.blurb.com/my/book/detail/1355481)
If, by some strange reason, you want a signed copy, let me know, and I’ll arrange it, with only the cost of the extra postage added to the book. Hey you never know how famous I’ll be in the future, right? Hehe.
I’m not below begging, so please, please, please, please buy a copy to help support poor starving artists making their independent animated films. To help you save on postage, get a few mates together and order a bunch of them, as it’s only a few dollars more to send 5 books as it is to send 1 book. Feel free to pass on these links and tell everyone you can!
Thanks very much!
Ryan
