Hi this is both a 3dCoat and LW question.
Q: So I import my objects from LW to 3DCoat to UV and texturing (and ofc subdivide it in 3Dcoat so it´s like subtatch in Lightwave. I do my texture and export the object “Low-poly” and open it up in LW and hit the tab-key for subtatch …and the texture is deformed!!
So mainly this is a issue with 3D-Coat and Lightwave calculates smothing differently which leads to the texture to deform? not sure tho.
So my brother found out a work-around solution that he explains in this video but is there any better solutions for this problem ? Is there a way you could do it without this work- around ?
