I am completely new to 3ds Max (3d software in general for that matter) and I want to figure out how to texture; how to make uvw maps and what not. I’ve already tried 3dtotal.com’s tuts, but they don’t go into detail AT ALL on how to make the the maps.
please help, any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is a veary kool place that offers some very helpfull video tutorials but they do require you to be a member and download a tool that will cue to download what even vid tutorial you want to download from them so it takes a bit of time, but like I said very helpful.
