Texturing Advice

Hi, im new to CG and as a part of my course, we are suppost to go on and use forums for 3d design such as CG. Heres my work and any critisisms or advice would be great. Sorry if i posted this in the wrong place.

ANY critique on the texture would be apreciated. It is really rough.

Looks like a good start. The main advice I’d give you is that since your model is so low res, you’re gonna have to add a lot of extra detail at the texture stage. Especially where two pieces of geometry join together. Make sure to add lots of dirt and rust at join areas, and drips that travel from one material to another material. Like do some drips from that roof onto the concrete wall. Stuff like that. Good luck, and update us on your progress.

Hi,

Its very good idea to get feedback as much as possible. Looking at your picture is clear that you have just begun your journey with 3d graphics.
Please spend time on researching as much photos with similar elements as you can. Research is key to save you time later during production. Look at turorials arond web how to do basic modeling/texturing.

Look Planet Polygon for example

dont stop practising and have fun doing it:)
