Drawing the sketch 1h, actual painting 6h. Total 7h. And still is not finished and i am dead tired. All done in PS CS3. I left it at maximum rezolution 2024×1518, because I am in testing phase.
I want some quality comments please. I need more tips about digital painting because im so new to it.
thanks.

What is she supposed to be? A robot? What kind of materials is she made out of? It looks like some kind of shiny plastic? What is the purpose of this image? And what exactly are you struggling with in terms of digital painting techniques?

yes she is, yes she’s plastic, i want to learn techniques of speed painting(as I said in description, ot took me 7h- come on)… there must be some shortcuts to cut some time. I want to be faster than I am today - and thanks and appreciated your post.

Speed comes with experience and practice. Veteran artists who have put in thousands of hours painting get faster at it.

Also, speedpainting is not done with the kind of polish you’re going for with this image. Speedpainting takes after the traditions of alla prima painting, where you try to communicate as much as possible and capture the overall essence of a subject/scene with brush economy and speed, and the result is usually painterly and with impressionistic leanings.

If you want to learn speedpainting, then you have to let go of that polished, clean style, and embrace the alla prima and impressionistic approach.
