It’d been a while since I did a matte for fun I had the background picture for a while and had a picture in my mind of what to do with it but with a hectic day job, I didn’t have time to start working on it till last Friday. I wanted to do a scene like in Lord of the Rings and just match pictures and paint only didn’t want to use 3d and this is the result.

Looking great, the image looks well composed. I just have a few comments though, the waterfalls in the distance looks gigantic, and the castle doesn’t seem to quite fit in. I guess its the color values… aside from that looks great.
