Temple - WIP

Hello all. This is my last project for my matte painting class. The assignment was to take the original image (below) and expand it on all sides and to restore it to some degree.

Wow this is fantastic Jared. It has a real mysterious look to it. I have done Photo manipulation etc. but not to this extent.

So how does one get the stone building from the warm stone color to the cool looking stone color? Do you use the Hue/Saturation, Curves, Color Balance or levels etc. to get the stone from a warm color to a cool color?
