PlanktonInvasion is a concept that will be released on the internet within a few weeks, from then broadcasting a episode each month. While the full-website is currently under construction, a preview page is allready online with a small teaser to watch.

Hi Joeri,

Seems to be broken? The animation plays until the shell starts ringing then it stops, or restarts. Looks lovely from what I saw…

Hey man, saw some pics and the teaser and it look gorgeous!

A few questions:

  • render in LW. is that all radiosity ?
  • how much time did you spend animating a whole episode ?
  • how many people worked on this ?

glad you like it!
To answer your questions:

-Radiosity indeed, monte carlo with 2 bounces.

-1 TV-episode of 3minutes will be between 3 and 5 weeks for 1 guy! (depends on the story)

More information will be available with the release of the website… 8 -hardcoreworking- weeks from now! :slight_smile:

A new teaser will come out within a few weeks …
