Tablet stroke gaps/spacing problem

#1

Hi,

I’m experiencing strange problems when trying to draw a mask on a model. Sculpting works fine without any “dotting” or spacing problems but when it comes to drawing mask strokes everything is out of control. I have to paint three or four times over the same place to make there fluent line without sudden pressure falls or dotting effect. What are these gaps in the stroke? They appear no matter how hard I press on a tablet with my pen.

Simply put I want to be able to draw a clean black line as in photoshop when you turn off shape and pressure sensitivity in it’s brush settings. Is there a way to avoid these “dotting” or irregularities in the stroke?

Thanks in advance!

i dont use a tablet but try stroke menu on top>mouse average
or try some stroke options, most of the time the skipping is caused by stroking to fast.
try turning on the stroke>lazy mouse

Have you tried updating or rolling back your tablet drivers?

Oh, also, if you’re on a Windows machine try disabling “press and hold for right click” in your pen settings (windows settings, not wacom). This causes all kinds of problems with tablet interaction.
