Tablet Size?

Hey I’ve decided on getting the Wacom Intuos 4 but I’m exactly sure on what size to get as I’ve never used a tablet. What do you recommend and why. I will be painting textures and doing matte paintings as well as just sketching. Thank you.

I have a 6x11 and it’s great. It’s big enough to allow me to use full strokes, but still not too big to keep it unportable. It’s about the same size as a paper notebook.

6x11 is a pretty good size for general work and it will travel well in a bag.
