t-rex on road

#1

Hi everybody!
Here is my last project. Few months ago I modeled a t-rex for a scene I was trying to do, wich finally didn´t came out. So I started another scene from scratch, maybe less ambicious than the previous one, and just focused on an environment for the t-rex. I did a bunch of sketches and finally I borrowed the idea from a picture I saw on pinterest ( https://es.pinterest.com/pin/420101471472314259/ )
And here is the result.
Any feedback will be much appreciated please.
Thanks in advance!!

My eyes see the road panel. Look super thick.

The T-Rex is neat. But not sure about the proportion. Have you turntable render?

Echo Scote’s comments. But I think the dimensions for the T-Rex are about right. Off the top of my head, its commonly acknowledged by Palaeontologists it approximately stood at 4m (13 feet) tall and 40m (131 feet) from nose too tip of tail. So taking into account perspective coupled with camera angle, you’re IMHO near enough.

Here’s a screecap from “Jurassic Park” the movie for a rough comparison.

When I talking proportion I mean anatomic proportion. Not versus the car.

Ah…my bad, too early in the morning

Hi Scote and sacboi! Thanks for your comments!
Yes, the road sign is too thick and the normal info too strong I think, I need to fix that and think about another solution as the idea idea was give it enough presence to balance the scene and guide the read of the composition to the right side…, but definitely too strong.
I didnt make a turntable, but I´ve made a couple of screen captures of the different views so you can see the model better.
