Summer Forum Cleaning!

Allo All,

I’ve just removed some really old threads and merged all relevant links together into one thread that’s newly stickied here:

Please post any new links, matte painting artist’s websites, tutorials, references, and all else matte painting in that thread. Then I will edit the original post and consolidate that information into one place for us all.

Further change is ahead this year, such as big challenges for this forum hopefully, stay tuned!

wow, nice progress here! Great activity and thanks a lot David and everybody for all info in “DMP Tome of Knowledge” very useful, will definitely check everything out there :slight_smile:

to my shame I haven’t buy the book “The Invisible Art: The Legends of Movie Matte Painting” yet. Something always interrupt me. Will do it one day :slight_smile:

Thanks! The Invisible Art is an amazing book, though its out of print now so it’s expensive new. But there are used ones I think you can find worth buying.

Yeah, probably I’ll buy a used one, because a new book is quite expensive, unfortunately I’m now into some troubles with job and money, so once I get better - will do it
