Subdivide causes weird visual anomaly?

#1

Hey guys. This is probably something pretty simple, but I thought I would ask before wasting too much time. I’ve only been at this ZBrush thing for a few hours :stuck_out_tongue:

I had this guy at 3 subdivions in the before image, and the after image shows what happened when I took it to 4. Further sculpting covers up the problem with layers of clay, but no amount of reloading or further subdividing has any effect on the issue. Looks like a video drivers issue, but my current drivers solve a Photoshop issue. Anyway, any help appreciated!

Update, it also glitches like that if I switch to a lower subdivision.

towards the bottom right turn on solo
this will show only what is selected and other subtools will not show.

you have 2 of the same heads in subtools

Ha, correct. Checked subtool palette, and there it is. Not sure how I managed to do that without noticing.

Thanks!
