I’m new to sculpturing and I don’t know from where to begin studying.
am I suppose to study human anatomy first or pick any sculpturing tutorial and begin?
studying advice
just start with any beginner tutorials as those will help you get an understanding of the interface and hotkeys. I can definitely suggest digital tutors introduction to zbrush 4r5, that really helped me get up to speed with zbrush.
yes I finished it month a go but unfortunately I don’t know how to sculpt and I would like to begin with something learn me the basics.
so is it better to begin with human anatomy or another tutorials
thanks in advance
I’m no expert just a beginner in art in general, but it helps to have some traditional art skills to start with so you understand perspective, shading and all the other stuff. I still can’t do anatomy yet, but since I have taken a couple of drawing courses among other stuff it has helped me to do some things in zbrush. GOOD LUCK! ![]()
You could take a beginner sculpting class in traditional art median, or just learn to draw with graphite pencil it doesn’t matter other then getting some sort of understanding of proportions, perspective, and composition and all the rest that comes with art. Drawing is usually a good place to start learning because its used in all the other areas of traditional art. It just helps knowing about composition and different aspects of art. There is a book called “A guide to drawing” by David L. Faber and Daniel M. Mendelowitz , that I foind to be very informative.
