Stretchy Ik

Hey Guys,

I am rigging a character for a project. As per the requirement for the character I’ve made its legs and arms stretchy. Everything is working fine except the arms, when i stretch them they are working as they should but when i am translating it back to its original position, the arm is transforming weirdly. I’ve tried everything but i am unable to solve it. Whereas in the new file when i am rigging an arm its working great.

Please help me. . .

By weird you mean when you key in zero in the channelbox it just stays or it just pops somewhere else? Without any picture I can just guess.

This could be
1.cycle problem in your connection
2.the “enable snap” is checked on your ik
3.try constaint to the group of your ik instead of the ik itself
