Using a spline curv as a motion path for joints gets a stretching effect. Delete the keys motion paths automatically generate and set individual joints along increasing percentages along the curv.
It’s a general solution. The path constraint in 3ds Max works the same. If you have to deal with orientation issues, then look at constraints can come in handy. I’ll see if I can create a demo scene later.

lots of useful info in here - felix doesn’t use the native IK Spline solver as it has some pretty crippling limitations when it comes to twisting.
