Strange Vray Issue

#1

I’m trying vray for the first time, I think it will save me more time to get better results compared to mental ray but I have a small problem/bug
I can’t see the lights in my viewport, I’ve tried all the viewports with different settings but to no avail. Also, when I render my scene, the time it takes to render a single light is also significantly high than mental ray when it should have been the other way around. I have also tried different modes to cut down on render time including cpu, opengl, cuda engine. Please help me fix this problem, especially the lights not being visible problem.
Sharing the screenshot below. Thanks

PS. I’m using the latest version of vray, I’ve also tried trial version on a different machine.

Same thing happened to me when i first tried 3.0 - the default max samples are set to 100, turn that down to 8, or even 2 if you don’t mind some jaggies in your test render

vray lights have to also have Locators visible for you to see them

you need to share your settings in order to help out.
The default mode in 3.0 is Progressive, not DMC.
